1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to create an account. By using WhatIGrow, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account. You can sign in with email, Google, Microsoft, Apple, or Facebook; each connection is governed by that provider’s terms as well. Notify us promptly atsimplygoodappscanada@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. The service

WhatIGrow identifies plants from photos, stores your plant records and care history, analyzes plant health, and provides personalized, AI-generated recommendations and advice. AI outputs are informational and may be inaccurate—they are not a substitute for professional horticultural or veterinary guidance. You are responsible for decisions you make based on the app’s suggestions.

4. Acceptable use

• Use the app only for lawful, personal plant-care purposes.
• Do not upload content that is unlawful, infringing, harmful, or that you do not have the right to share.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or overload the service, or access data that isn’t yours.
• Do not misuse AI features to generate harmful, deceptive, or spam content.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the photos and information you upload. You grant WhatIGrow and its AI providers a limited license to process your content solely to run the features you request (identification, health analysis, recommendations) and to display them back to you. You may delete your content at any time, as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Subscriptions and payments

Paid plans (Pro and Premiere) are billed monthly through Stripe in the currency shown at checkout. Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel from the app. Cancellation stops future billing; you keep access until the end of the current paid period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with reasonable notice; price changes apply at your next renewal.

7. Plan limits

Each plan has limits on the number of plants and monthly AI actions, as shown on the plans page. We may rate-limit or restrict usage that exceeds your plan or appears abusive.

8. Termination & suspension

You can delete your account or stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create legal or security risk, or as needed to protect the service. Termination does not affect amounts already owed.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. AI-generated content may be wrong. To the maximum extent permitted by law, WhatIGrow and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any harm to plants, property, or health resulting from use of the service. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months, if any.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest revision. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
